What BMS Grader does

Everything you need to track your grades and attendance

No spreadsheets, no manual formulas. The calculator follows the BMS marks split, so the numbers match how your results are worked out.

Subject-wise grade points

Enter IA 1–3, CCA or lab marks and your end-sem score. It picks your best two IAs, scales everything to 100 and shows the grade point you'll get.

Past semesters in one line

In 2nd year or later? Type the SGPA of each finished semester, or a whole year's CGPA, straight from your marksheet. No need to re-add every subject.

Should you write IA 3?

It tells you what you need to score in IA 3 for it to replace your weaker IA, or that you can skip it.

Live, credit-weighted CGPA

Semester SGPA, year CGPA and overall CGPA update as you type, weighted by credits just like the real calculation.

Attendance calculator New

See how many classes you can skip, or how many you need to attend in a row, to stay above the minimum in every subject. Mark present or absent after each class and it's saved on your device.

The maths behind it

How your marks are counted

Each subject is scored out of 100

Theory subjects with CCA
IA 30 CCA 20 End sem 50
Subjects with a lab
IA 25 Lab 25 End sem 50

IA uses your best two of three tests (each out of 40). End sem is out of 100 and halved. Lab is record (15) + lab exam (10); CCA is two components of 10 each.

Total marks → grade point

SGPA = Σ (credits × grade point) ÷ Σ credits. CGPA works the same way across semesters.

Your grades don’t define you, they predict where your hard work is taking you.
